The Time to Plan for 2024 is Now

Have you ever considered the fact that the time to plan out your year starts long before December 31?

Living by design, not by default, takes planning. Living proactively, not reactively, takes intentionality. Less chaos, more order does not just happen. And less wasted time, more time spent on the people and things that matter most only happens when we stop letting others prioritize our lives.

On October 21, from 10 AM to 2 PM, I’m going to take people through a process to help them live more deliberately in 2024, and I hope you’ll be there! Consider this your official invitation and encouragement to join me for 2024 By Design, a workshop to plan out 2024. We’re going to have a great time looking back at the last year and taking stock of how we spent our time, money, and energy. We’re going to consider who got the best from us in 2023 and assess whether the people we gave the most to are the people who matter most to us. I think you’ll be surprised when you realize how much other people have prioritized your life, because if you don’t prioritize your life, someone else will!

I want to help you plan out a year that aligns with your values and priorities. I want to help you have less stress and more joy in 2024. I want to help you finally do something you have been talking about doing for years. I want to help you stop wasting time and go to bed each night with a sense of satisfaction. And a year from now, when all is said and done and 2024 is almost over, I want you to be able to look back with joy, not regret.

Now obviously, life throws us all sorts of curve balls and there are many things outside of our control. I’m not pretending that’s not the case. (I have five children. I am well acquainted with life’s curve balls!) Part of living by design is taking into account the things we can’t plan for and being prepared to pivot when needed. We plan out the year with the understanding that some things might have to shift.

There are a lot of things you can do now to make the year run more smoothly, to reduce decision fatigue, to connect with the people who matter most, to contribute without burning out, to ensure that you’re spending your time and money and energy on the things that matter most, and to lead more effectively, work more efficiently, and live more joyfully in 2024.

I want to help you do that.

This workshop is my way of doing that.

So I hope you’ll join me in person in Roanoke or on Zoom on Saturday, October 21, from 10am-3pm Eastern Time.

Click here to register. It’s a relatively small investment compared to the return I guarantee you’re going to get when you find yourself less stressed and more joyful by the end of next year.

Don’t wait. Do yourself a favor and sign up right now. You will not regret it! And I’ll see you in October!
